Today I received my gift from my Secret Santa on Reddit Gifts.

So here it is :)

But wait...
If any of you are interest in this thing called Reddit Gifts...
It really is one of the largest World Gift Exchange website.

Its hard to tell but I really do love collecting and trying new things...

My Birthday Recap {Journal Blog}

I know it took me forever but I finally edited
the the pictures from my birthday and created some little collages...

So now I'm ready to share :)
Yay.

So for my Birthday I went to the Point Defiance Zoo and aquarium...
But I went there for Zoo lights.
I also had a lovely dinner at Anthony's on the pier in Tacoma.

Here's me celebrating my 22nd Birthday!

My Day started off a little like this...

I got walked to the car and it was full of balloons :)
Then we went to 7-11 to get Hot Chocolate!

So the mousey tea pot is something that I've been wanting for two years :)
and I actually got it as a gift...

The Live things at the Zoo that very cold night...
{lets just say that meerkat kept me entertained for awhile}
[[He had hiccups]]

Red is Red...

Now for the lights...

Thanks for Visiting and Recapturing my birthday with me.
I would love to hear about your annual traditions or special day.

Reindeer and Clothespins (tutorial)

Know some where in my childhood at one point in time
I made something out of clothespins. Being such a unique but very blank canvas,
there so many things that you can do with them...

Thats exactly why I made these...

Aren't they cute?
Well I think so :)
Easy to...
That's why I'm sharing my method of creating these lovely holiday icons

Supplies You Will Need...

  • Hot glue gun
  • some kind of container (to put paint in)... plates will work fine to.
  • Pipe Cleaners (Brown)
  • Red Pom Poms
  • Paint (brown,white, & black)
  • Paint Brushes
  • Clothes Pins
  • Tweezers (makes handling the nose a lot easier)
  • Scissors (not shown)
Now Just simply Begin to paint...
After painting them completely brown...
You paint white little dots for the eyes and then little black ones inside the white for the pupils.

Next Step...
(time to plug in the hot glue gun)

Glue on the red pom pom for the nose...
Cute pipe cleaners for proper length of antlers...
and hot glue them on behind the eyes :)

Voila!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Where did I go? After one & 1/2 weeks off... Popcorn!

Where to start, where to start...
Since the 1st of December I have...
Celebrated another year of my life.
For my birthday I went to Zoo Lights :) I'll have to do a post just for that...
Filled out Christmas cards.
Sent a Secret Santa gift to the UK.
(shipping prices are insane, just lucky it was under 4 pounds)
Got a library card.
(for where I live now, No longer need my Cali one)
Finished some small projects.
Skyped my Dad.
And I got my decorations up :)

Nothing real exciting but I still figured I would blog.
I do have some amazing new finds though!

This is something that I would love to try
and I think you should try it to.
Easy, cost effective and fun.
Why Not? :)

Then there's this...

Okay...One more dose of awesomeness...

Question First!?
What does a pot holder and a flat iron have in common?

Well this is what they have in common... Heat.
One makes heat and the other one protects you from the heat.
Meaning with a cute dollar tree pot holder and some thread you now have a new flat iron holder!
Amazing idea!
I've seen similiar ideas sold at the mall for $30 bucks. Thats just crazy lol!

So enjoy as I'm to look for black foam board, a cute pot holder and now I'm really wanting a pop corn machine.
(I use to have one growing up and I loved it)

No Holiday Lights, Just Sickness and tree toppers!

So today I was going to start Holiday blogging...
and Decorate my house for this lovely month of December...
BUT!!!
I'm Sick :(

So instead of decorating, baking and filling out Christmas cards...
I laid on the couch, relaxed, tried to eat, hung out with my puppies and watch Netflix.
Because those things are so much more exciting than doing fun Holiday stuff...
I was also suppose to go Christmas tree hunting tonight...
Yeah, thats not going to happen :o(

I do have this to say though...
I found some really amazing Christmas crafts on Pinterest
and some of the awesome blogs that I follow!

Here's one that I'm going to try once I get me some pretty paper :)

That Star has to be one of the coolest DIY tree toppers that I've seen in awhile.
This is what the top of my tree will be rockin!!
Hehe

Sparkle Sparkle!!

Well I'm off to drown in the couch again Hehe...
